Hope Connects directly partners with local organizations in developing countries to identify and fund effective humanitarian projects, while keeping donors engaged in project progress to ensure confident giving.
How We Do It
Hope Connects applies a country-specific approach to identifying and implementing international development projects. Extensive research helps to determine where to focus, as well as what services are most needed. Through strong partnerships with local organizations, Hope Connects is able to determine the most effective programs, as well as the greatest barriers to development, and then identify a multi-project implementation approach that will most effectively impact the most vulnerable populations in the focus country. This model allows for greater engagement in order to successfully determine the direct local impact.
Hope Connects will replicate this strategic model in multiple developing countries, adjusting for local circumstances, issues and resources. This allows for profound global impact which is made through extensive research, local partnerships and worldwide compassion.
Hope Connects conducts extensive research before, during and after project implementation, so you can be confident your investment is safe and sound. HC partners are kept engaged in the movement of Hope Connects projects through detailed progress and financial reports, as well as ongoing, personal stories about the people whose lives are being impacted because of your compassionate investment.
Contributors receive a Project Portfolio, Progress Reports, as well as an Outcome Report.
PROJECT PORTFOLIO: Provides meaningful background information and details about the project, including:
- Current Situation: Why are we focusing in this area?
- Need: How does this project address the problem in this area?
- Expected Impact: How many people are expected to be impacted through this project, who and how?
- Budget: Where is your money going, exactly?
QUARTERLY PROGRESS REPORTS: Keeps you informed of the current progress and impact of your investment, along with photos and stories of those benefiting from the project.
OUTCOME REPORT: Provides contributors with a comparison of the expected impact versus the actual impact. This report includes the number of people who benefited from the project and how.
